Church History

Pastor Paul Septer came to Montezuma in 1959, under the leading of the Holy Spirit. He worked a full-time job and began his ministry by leading home bible studies. Eventually this grew to having church services in a store front on the Montezuma town square. The new store front church was named Faith Christian Center. As the church grew they saw the need to build a church building. Property was purchased on S. 3rd Street and construction began. The first service was held on May 17, 1992. Ten years later a new sanctuary was built on the same property. Services in the new building began April 28, 2002.
In March 2014 Pastor Paul retired and the church leadership was transferred to Pastor Bill Wilkerson.
